Freelance Director of Photography

In addition to doing full productions, I work as a freelance director of photography for other production companies, broadcast/cable shows, and independent documentaries. I often work solo, but can also add crew as needed for camera assistance, lighting and grip.

I currently own a Panasonic AF100 and Ki Pro Mini package, a Canon 5D Mark II, and a Panasonic HVX200A. I’ve ordered the new EF-mount Canon C300 and am excited about its arrival in Feb/March. From what I’ve seen, it promises to be the best 35mm sensor camera for documentaries, as well as a great studio camera. I’ve also worked with Panasonic and Sony 2/3” CCD broadcast cameras and a variety of 1/3” CCD cameras. Please contact me to talk about your project and needs.
